Half a day

A car is the biggest battery most homes will ever have. Charged at home, on your own sunshine or a cheap overnight rate, a mile costs a fraction of what it does at a public charger.

Our chargers talk to your inverter: when the roof makes more than the house needs, the car takes it. When it doesn’t, the charger waits for the cheap hours.

What it could save

For 8,000 miles a year mostly charged at home, typically £400 to £700 a year against public charging. Typical, not guaranteed: it depends on your car, your tariff and your miles.

How it goes

  1. Check

A photo of your fuse board and where you park is often enough to quote.

  2. Fit

Fitted on the house or a post by the drive in half a day.

  3. Set

Solar mode on, an overnight schedule for the dark months.

Questions

Will it work with my car?

Yes, with any car that uses a Type 2 plug, which is nearly all of them in the UK.

Can it charge only from solar?

Yes. In solar mode it waits for spare power from the roof, and you can boost it when you need the car full.
