How it works

From a free survey to your first sunny day

Four steps, one team. You talk to the person who designs your system and you meet the people who fit it. Here is what happens, how long it takes and what it costs.

  1. 01 · About an hour

    Free survey

Sam or Ruth comes to the house, looks at the roof, the loft and the fuse board, and asks how you use energy through the day.

    Free

    • Roof measured, by drone if it’s high
    • Shading checked through the year
    • A look at your last year of bills
    • Your questions answered, no sales script
  2. 02 · Within a week

    Design and fixed quote

A layout drawn for your roof, the kit we suggest and why, a fixed price and an estimate of what it makes and saves, all in writing.

    Free

    • A panel layout on a photo of your roof
    • Yearly generation from MCS figures
    • A fixed price, VAT shown
    • No deposit until you decide
  3. 03 · 1–2 days

    Fitting

Scaffold goes up the day before. Our installers fit the rails and panels, the inverter and battery, test everything and switch it on.

    £500 deposit

    • Scaffold up and down, included
    • Power off for about two hours
    • The roof left as tidy as we found it
    • The app set up on your phone
  4. 04 · For years

    Monitoring and care

We watch your system for the first year as standard. If generation drops we ring you, usually before you notice.

    Included for a year

    • MCS certificate and paperwork sent
    • Export tariff application done
    • A check-in call after a month
    • Care plans from £9 a month after that

Questions

Do I have to be home on fitting day?

For an hour at the start and the end: to let us at the fuse board and to see it switched on. In between, carry on as normal.

What if it rains?

Light rain is fine. In wind or heavy rain we stop for safety and finish the next dry day; the scaffold stays up at no extra cost.

When do I get the deposit back if I change my mind?

Up to 14 days after paying, in full, no questions. After that, see the deposit and installation terms.

Ask the office

Solutions, prices from, grants and how it works

Hello! Ask me what we fit, roughly what it costs, which grants might apply or whether we cover your village.
